Bella Rakha is set located in Oratia Valley, at the base of the Waitakere Ranges. We have 32 acres, with about 12 acres of park like grounds, and 20 acres of native bush. We are bounded on the eastern side by Oratia Stream, which crosses under our sculpture bridge halfway down our long driveway.
Guests are able to walk around the grounds while using the property, and we have a large site map inside the dining room which highlights the private Retreat Centre area, private areas, and general grounds used by the permanent residents. Guests need to be mindful of natural hazards while exploring, wet ground, stream banks and fallen trees etc, inside the bush.
